I've been an artist most all of my life. As a small child I was constantly drawing. In my early school years, I'm pretty sure I passed english because I drew a picture for my teacher everyday. Over the years I relentlessly studied many art forms. After 3 years at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham Oregon I was anxious to launch out and figure out how I was going to make a living with my knowledge. I had a firm understanding of perspective drawing so I started doing architectural renderings for home planners in the Portland area. After a couple of years I was offered a job teaching architectural rendering to the architect students at Mt. Hood CC.

7 years later I took an job offer as an illustrator for the American Military Club System in Wiesbaden Germany. It was a position that only lasted a year but it was a wonderful experience and I was swept away byt the castles.

I returned home in the mid 80's and resumed my freelance illustration business. During the next 16 years I was involved in creating advertising imagery, product illustration, logo design, magazine illustration, grocery store interior graphics and photography. I was also doing fine art and was showing in local galleries.

In 2000 I was picked up by a traveling art rep and soon I was selling artwork across the United States. In 2007 the economy tanked and crushed the art world. Most all of us were effected in some way. I went into trucking where I focused my creativity on songwriting which is something I've done since my 20's. In 2020 I quit the trucking biz and returned to a very different art world.

Now my focus is on fine art and music...... although... I've been bitten by the animation bug. but that's another story.
